Irradiation system and dosimetry
At the position of blood samples, the doses due to neutrons and gamma-rays
were determined by TE gas/CO2 gas twin chamber method. The external and internal gamma-rays were further confirmed by the TLD dosimeters in the presence or absence of blood. Blood samples (whole blood) in 1 ml polyethyrene tubes were irradiated for appropriate time until they were pulled out of the reactor. |
